MUMBAI: Police seized red sanders logs valued at over Rs. 5 lakh from the house of a person at Aravaperimedi village, near Naidupeta in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District on Thursday.
On a tip off, Naidpeta police raided the house of the person, P. Krishnaiah (40) and found over 60 logs of the contraband concealed in the cowshed, Naidupeta Circle Inspector M. Rataiah said.
Registering a case, Naidupeta police picked up Krishnaiah for questioning.
