MUMBAI: The rupee was marginally down by 2 paise at Rs 63.75 against the dollar in early trade today due to appreciation of the US currency overseas.

Dealers attributed the rupee’s fall to dollar gains against other currencies overseas. Some demand for the dollar from importers also weighed on the rupee sentiment, they said.
