MUMBAI: Indian rupee has strengthened on Wednesday against US dollar. Indian currency gained 7 paise or 0.11 percent against dollar to trade at 62.44.
Rupee has witnessed a high of 62.39 and a low of 62.44. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.
The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, rose 0.17 percent to trade at 98.91.
On Monday, Indian rupee has depreciated against US dollar. Indian currency declined 19 paise or 0.30 percent against dollar to trade at 62.51.
