MUMBAI: Indian benchmark BSE sensex gained over 151 points in early trade on value-based buying by investors amid positive cues from other Asian markets.
The 30-share index, which had lost 1,368.40 points in the previous five sessions, recovered by 151.62 points, or 0.54%, at 27,827.66 as buying in stocks of realty, banking, capital goods, oil & gas, healthcare, FMCG and auto sectors, positively impacted the trading sentiments.
Also, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty regained the 8,400-mark by rising 45.45 points, or 0.54%, at 8,423.20.
