NEW DELHI: State Bank of India will be hiring around 2,400 entry-level executives or probationary officers, through online tests followed by a group discussion and interview.
Selected officers will be exposed to working in personal banking, rural banking, credit, forex and treasury departments, SBI said in a statement.
The starting salary of the selected candidates would be Rs 8,56,392 per annum, SBI said. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 36,046 and as cash; a major component of the salary is lease rental, which comes to Rs 29,500 for Mumbai, SBI said.
Candidates willing to work for SBI should have a graduate degree and be between 21-30 years of age. A maximum of four attempts are permissible for general category candidates.
