BNN’s head of drug eradication said the 862-kilogram haul was worth about $200,000 per kilo – $170 million in total.

Bags of the drug were thrown into the incinerator and destroyed.

BNN spokesman Deddy Fauzi Elhakim said anyone caught with more than five grams of the drug was eligible for the death penalty.
