JAKARTA: The government has injected Rp 3.5 trillion capital into state-run construction firm PT Waskita Karya that will help the company strengthen and improve its business and financial capacity.
The capital injection was signed off on by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on June 3, kontan.co.id reported the Cabinet Secretariat’s official website as saying.
The funds were sourced from the 2015 state budget, while the figure was determined by the finance minister based on the result of a new share issuance that was announced by the state-owned enterprises minister.
