Zulfiqar informed the Indonesian ambassador about the improved security situation in the province and its adjacent Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) as a result of the two-year long military operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists and other anti-state elements. He added that the improved security also resulted in the strengthening of the country’s economy. KPCCI president said that Pakistan was providing lucrative packages to international investors and that the Indonesian investors would benefit from such packages if they decided to invest in KP. He added that such investments would also help the province in rebuilding its economy that suffered during the decade-long security crisis.

Ambassador Iwan Suyudhie Amri appreciated the sacrifices made by the Pakistan security forces in the war against terror. He also appreciated the efforts made by KPCCI for rebuilding the economy in hard times. He said that Indonesia would support Pakistan to boost the country’s economy. He also agreed on luring Indonesian investors to visit KP and see opportunities for investment in the province.
