JAKARTA: Indonesia’s state-owned Pertamina is expected to import around 10.44 million barrels of gasoline in September, up from 10.11 million barrels in August, trade sources said this week.
The September estimate includes about 9.4 million barrels of 88 RON gasoline, up from 8.47 million barrels in August.
The increase in 88 RON gasoline imports could be due to the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday on September 24, when demand typically rises.
September imports of 92 RON finished grade gasoline and high octane mogas component of 92 RON gasoline were estimated at 600,000 barrels and 400,000 barrels, respectively.
