KARACHI: One of the major challenges that the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) of Appraisement-East is facing today is that there has been no induction of Grade 1-16 staff for over 15 years.
Informed sources told Customs today that the shortage of the staff due to non-recruitment of fresh blood is depriving the opportunity to have access to better performance.
Though the induction of Grade 17 and above officers continues the shortage of staff due to non-recruitment of Grade 1-16 staff has become one of the top challenges for the MCC of Appraisement-East, sources said.
