LONDON: Infinigate UK, a recognised, true value-added distributor of IT security solutions, has signed an agreement with Guidance Software in the UK to distribute their leading cybersecurity and digital investigative solutions.

As Ken Yearwood, Director of Sales, EMEA for Guidance Software explains “Security teams are now operating under the assumption of compromise, with perimeter security no longer considered a viable deterrent against today’s attacks. Guidance Software is in the fast-growing endpoint detection and response market and we want to extend our early success to help organizations in the UK defend against the growing tide of cyber threats targeting endpoints.”

Guidance Software’s EnCase® Enterprise platform is used by numerous government agencies, more than 70 percent of the Fortune 100, and more than 45 percent of the Fortune 500, to conduct digital investigations of endpoints including servers, laptops, desktops and mobile devices.

Infinigate has a solid reputation of helping security vendors in emerging technologies to gain market acceptance, particularly in the UK. We are looking for assistance with market exposure that Infinigate can provide,” explains Yearwood.

Alex Teh, Joint Managing Director of Infinigate UK added, “Guidance Software is a key part of our Cybercrime enforcement arsenal. They complete a portfolio of products that provide a solution to an addressable market worth £100s of million. Guidance Software has been a market leader in the cyber forensics space for a long time. It is this pedigree of knowledge and technology that has led them to build an enterprise product that we believe is essential for organisations to remediate advanced malware found in a network and on endpoints.”

“We aim to recruit a small and select group of cybercrime reseller specialists that can focus on bringing in mid-market enterprise customers to Guidance Software. We are not seeking to work with a specific number of partners, but rather to engage with the right resellers,” Teh said. “A product like EnCase enables the channel to build IT services around highly effective incident response and remediation capabilities.”

From today, Infinigate UK’s channel partners will be able to capitalise on a wealth of marketing materials on the Infinigate partner portal including information and tools to market, sell and support Guidance Software’s products and solutions as well as details on how to register deals.
