KARACHI: Directorate of Intelligence and Investigations Inland Revenue finalizes a list of persons who bought luxurious properties in United Arab Emirates or invested in other projects in Dubai.
Sources told Customs Today that Inland Revenue Department is also scrutinizing all the record of companies which are avoiding to pay taxes in Pakistan but purchasing properties abroad. Inland Revenue has been preparing the list of these persons since April 2015. Sources said that it was also revealed during initial investigations that there are proof that some people converted their black money into white by purchasing properties in Dubai.
Sources said that a huge revenue was sent to Dubai by using illegal means such as hawala/hundi.
