Peshawar Customs working to facilitate Pak-Afghan trade & transit route: Collector Saeed Jadoon

PESHAWAR: International Customs Day was celebrated by Pakistan Customs and national flag was hoisted by Collector Mohammed Saeed Jadoon.

The collector was accompanied by deputy collector Customs and staff of Customs House Peshawar. On the special day, proper arrangements were carried out and short ceremony was arranged in which customs police performed the prade. The Customs officials saluted to national flag on the World Customs Day which is celebrated every year with commitment to encourage cross-border trade.

Collector Customs Mohammed Saeed Jadoon lauded the efforts of Customs officials on this international custom day. The Collector Customs said on the occasion that customs house Peshawar is working fearlessly to safeguard national economy from fraudulents. The Collector Customs appreciated the efforts taken by government to digitize Customs applications.

The Collector Customs said while talking with Customs Today that Customs House Peshawar is working to facilitate Pak-Afghan trade and transit route with stance to enlarge revenue collection from this region. The Collector Customs added that MCC Peshawar is doing a great job in revenue collection during current FY 2018-19.
