Intex introduces Aqua Turbo 4G smartphone with five-inch HD display

NEW DELHI: Domestic handset-maker Intex on Thursday launched the Aqua Turbo 4G smartphone priced at Rs 7,444.

The new 4G device, with a five-inch HD display, will run on latest Android Lollipop 5.1 and has 1 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM.

It sports a five-megapixel rear camera and a two-megapixel front camera.

The smartphone, which houses a 3,000 mAH battery, will have an internal memory of 8GB.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kalirona, mobile business head of Intex Technologies said: “We have always been at the forefront in technology advancements and the Aqua Turbo 4G is yet another powerful 4G LTE device from Intex’s kitty.”

“Intex always builds devices with stunning designs and powerful features which are also priced lucratively. This pioneering product comes as a package of smart designing, powerful battery, performance and preemptive pricing for our target consumer,” he added.

Intex, which is a diversified technology firm with a turnover of Rs 4,000 crore and 6000 employees, is the second largest domestic smartphone brand in the country in terms of shipments and market share.
