Inventec revenue up 3.33% to $1.11bn in Nov

TAIPEI: Inventec has reported consolidated revenues of NT$36.34 billion (US$1.11 billion) for November, up 3.33% on month, but down 7.29% on year, while combined consolidated revenues for the first 11 months of 2015 were NT$356.92 billion, down 10.53% from a year ago.

Inventec shipped 1.8 million notebooks, all-in-one PCs and desktops combined in November, up from 1.6 million units in October. Its handheld device shipments also grew 15% on month in November, while server shipments stayed at the same level as in October.

Inventec expects its revenues in the first quarter of 2016 to achieve a single-digit percentage growth from the same quarter a year ago with both handheld device and server shipments seeing growth. However, its PC shipments will decline due to seasonal factors.

For 2016, Inventec expects its notebook and server shipments to grow from 2015, while handheld device shipments will grow from 50-60 million units in 2015 to 70 million.
