Investigation report revealed that the conspiracy can directly or indirectly be related with the officials of Customs and to those companies which are doing the same business as Smart Zone is doing or it can be the company to whom Smart Zone has replaced as marketing agent for Samsung in Pakistan.

It was also mentioned in the report that whenever a company imports a consignment, Customs authorities issued a bond for it which gives the guarantee that if there comes any up and down in the duty and tax than the company is liable to pay the difference as per the law. However, this report shown that Customs authorities are working against the Smart Zone company.

Agency has prepared this report after investigation from secret sources and in the light of interviews of Customs authorities. Report further stated that the smuggling case of Smart Zone is a technical matter which is tried to be solved in such a way which destroys the image of Smart Zone completely.
