The sources informed this scribe that the Director IOCO Shahnaz Maqbool has constituted a five member team comprising additional director, two deputy directors and two assistant directors which would work on applications being implemented under SRO565(I) are being used and its further elaboration.

The sources further informed that the team after completing its working would submit a detailed report before the Director IOCO Shahnaz Maqbool and then the report would be forwarded to the FBR Headquarters for approval.

It is pertinent to mention here that the FBR authorities, some couple of years ago were also asked for elaborating SRO565(I)  in connection with machinery and facilities being given to the importers.

During that time, it was found that some importers were misusing the SRO565(I) in terms of machinery, construction material and other facilities.
