KARACHI: The Input-Out Co-efficient Organization (IOCO) has decided to issue provisional certificates to the importers by the end of June 2015, Customs Today learnt. The certificates would allow the importers to import raw material.
Confirming the development, sources informed Customs Today that the IOCO teams were conducting survey of the manufacturing units daily and would issue the certificates after seeking all legal formalities.
To a question, they confirmed that more than 80 provisional certificates for the manufacturing units have been issued by the department and the process was being continued.
The Input-Output Co-efficient Department has recently started to issue the certificates after getting directives from the Federal Board of Revenue.
