KARACHI: The Special Court of Custom Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has directed all the investigation officers (IOs) to collect the summons/ process and warrants issued in their cases personally from the court for service upon the witness and for arrest of the absconders.

The court observed that during the hearing, most of the investigation officers claim that they have not received any summons/ process and warrants for court’s compliance; therefore, the court reissued the same which was major cause in delay of cases.
