NEW YORK: Apple is preparing to launch a new iPad mini, the iPad mini 4 for those of you keeping count, according to new rumours.

Reports from Asia indicate that the iPad mini 4 will essentially be a shrunken iPad Air 2. Apparently it will come with an A8 processor and an 8MP iSight camera.

The dimensions will be the practically the same as the iPad mini 3. This new iteration will be sleeker at just 6.1mm compared to 7.5mm.

This new report also mentions that the iPad Pro will come out alongside the iPad Air 3 and the iPad mini 4. Of course, this tablet has been rumoured for several years, so we’ll believe it when we see it.

New iPads are usually announced in October, so if you are in the market for a new tablet keeps an eye out for news around then.
