IPR Enforcement seizes counterfeit wristwatches imported from China

KARACHI: Directorate of IPR Enforcement-South has confiscated consignments of counterfeited wristwatches of luxurious brands, imported from China.

The unauthorized use of the trade mark Rolex and Patek Philippe by the owner/importer of the goods without the consent of the right-holders i.e. Rolex S.A, Switzerland and M/s Patek Philippe & co, Switzerland renders the trade marks Rolex and Patek Philippe used by the owner of infringing goods being counterfeit trademarks. The goods have accordingly been confiscated.
