ISLAMABAD: All the Inland Revenue offices will remain open on December 30 (Friday) and December 31 (Saturday) for collection of duties and taxes.
The offices will also observe extended working hours till 8pm on Friday and 10pm on Saturday.
The Chief Commissioners have also been directed to establish liaison with State Bank of Pakistan and authorised branches of National Bank of Pakistan to ensure transfer of tax collection by these branches before or on December 31 to respective offices of the SBP on the same date so as to account for the same towards the collection for the month of December, 2016.
