ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue Inland Revenue-Operations Member Dr. Muhammad Irshad has directed the Islamabad Large Taxpayers Unit chief commissioner to take steps in order to expedite the revenue recovery.
He stated this while visiting the LTU in a meeting with high ups. The member was briefed about the tax recovery and targets by LTU in the meeting.
Irshad also directed the officers to keep an eye on the production and income of the large taxpayers, besides urging the chief commissioner to review the performance of officials over the time.
He said that department did not have any soft corner for the corrupt officials, adding that misuse of powers and violation of rules and regulations will not be tolerated at any level.
