Iran Central Bank Governor meets DPM Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Dr Abdolnasser Hemmati called on Deputy Prime Minister/ Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held indepth talks.

Both sides emphasised the importance of sustained dialogue and noted that peace and stability in the region remain essential for economic cooperation and shared progress.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a high-level meeting with an Iranian delegation during the ongoing Islamabad Talks, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to playing a constructive mediation role for regional and global peace.

During the interaction, the prime minister appreciated Iran’s active participation in the Islamabad Talks, describing it as a positive step towards strengthening diplomatic engagement in the region.

He reiterated Pakistan’s sincere resolve to continue contributing meaningfully as a mediator, with the objective of building momentum towards tangible outcomes that support both regional and global stability.
