TEHRAN: Close to 1,670 tons of fresh or dried bananas worth more than 41.82 billion rials ($1.3 million) were exported from Iran during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), the Islamic Republic of Iran, Customs Administration announced. The main export destinations for Iranian bananas over the period were Turkmenistan, Turkey and Qatar, the Young Journalist’s Club reported.
