TEHRAN: Iran exported goods worth $31.447 billion and imported $4.254 billion items from March 21, 2014.
The main imports of Iran consisted of wheat with share of 3.79 percent, rice with 3 percent, internal burning piston engine vehicles with cylinder capacity of more than 1500cc with 2.83 percent, soy bean meal with 2.06 percent and livestock corn with share of 2.07 percent of total value of imports. The main exporters were China, South Korea, India and Turkey.
Based on this report, during the past 8 months, non-oil exports and imports increased by 19.72 and 20.22 percent respectively but the figures of the past 7 months stood at 19.09 and 24.72 percent for exports and imports respectively.
The main non-oil exports include liquefied propane, methanol and poly ethylene film grade and the main importers were China, Iraq, UAE, Afghanistan and India respectively.
