TEHRAN: Iran exported as much as rls 750 billion of agricultural products through Mehran Border Terminal over the first four months of the current calendar year (started on March 21), said the director of Mehran’s Agricultural Jihad Office.
Speaking to IRNA, Hojjat Aref said that Iran’s agricultural exports through Mehran Border Terminal during the four-month period were 71,579 kg in terms of weight.
Watermelon, cucumber, potato, melon, pepper, apple, tomato and decorative flowers were among the main Iranian products exported to Iraq via Mehran Border Terminal.
Being located 85 km southwest of the city of Ilam, Mehran Border Terminal is considered as one of the main passages for exports of Iranian commodities to Iraq and for the passage of travelers as well.
