TEHRAN: Iran has increased its oil exports to more than 2.5 million barrels per day, a government spokesman said on Tuesday, confirming reports that the Islamic Republic’s oil exports were now close to pre-sanction levels.
“We have increased our oil exports to 2 million and 568 thousands barrels (per day) in Khordad month (May 21- June 20),” Mohammad Baqer Nobakht was quoted by the oil ministry’s news agency Shana as saying.
