TEHRAN: The delegation of Iran’s Aras Free Trade Zone (AFTZ) has conducted talks with the leadership of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).
Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly Speaker Vasif Talibov and Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of AFTZ Mohsen Khadem Arab-Baghi admitted that cooperation is useful not only at bilateral level but also for provision of a number of CIS countries’ demands.
“Nakhchivan, in particular, is the most important connecting bridge between Iran and Russia,” Arab-Baghi said.
In his view, the projects of industrially-developed AFTZ can be attractive to foreign investors, the zone is also attractive for tourism development.
