TEHRAN: Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, said that Iran’s non-oil export stood at $50 billion in outgoing year.
He said that after the end of last cabinet session before the end of the Iranian year 1393, the president said the Iranian nation has made great achievements over the past year despite many problems caused by sanctions, drought and the oil price falls.
Touching upon foreign policy achievements of his administration, Rouhani said that Iran has taken major steps in nuclear talks with the P5+1 and has established better relations with its neighbors and other world governments.
Referring to the government’s plans for enhancement of ties with neighbors in coming years, Rouhani said that ‘our trade and economic relations with neighboring countries are expected to double in some cases.’
He hailed efforts made by Ministries of Health and Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare to provide insurance and better health services for 8 million Iranians over the past year.
