BAGHDAD: According to Reuters data, Iraq’s oil exports from the souther region have fallen for the second month in a row. June declared 3.14 million bpd, which was significantly down 60,000 bpd in May
The South Oil Company (SOC) announced on Sunday that reasons behind the decline were maintenance work and increasing domestic demands. Northern Iraq shipments have fallen from 510,000 to 480,000 bpd in June. However, reasons for disruptions also caused the drop early in the year from 600,000 bpd as there was pipeline sabotage and the suspension of oil pumping via Kirkuk.
