DUBLIN: A smuggler has been arrested after €400,000 worth of drugs were been seized in Dublin.
The joint operation between the Gardaí, Revenue and the Organised Crime Bureau found 20 kilos of herbal cannabis in Clondalkin.
The drugs, which originated in Spain, were seized after they had been delivered here this afternoon.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing this evening.
The man is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
