NAAS: Cannabis with an estimated street value of €700,000 have been seized after gardaí raided a grow house in Co Kildare.
The cannabis plants and herb was recovered in the Ard Scoil area of Athy shortly after 11pm on Monday.
What was described by gardaí as a “fully functioning grow house” was found at the premises and items used in the cultivation of cannabis were seized.
One man (43) has been arrested and is being questioned at Kildare Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
