DUBLIN: Two men have been arrested in connection with the seizure over €2.1m worth of drugs in north Dublin.
Detectives discovered 300 kilos of cannabis resin, 8 kilos of cannabis herb and 1 kilo of cocaine in Donaghmede Park in Dublin 13 yesterday evening.
The two men – aged 25 years and 52 years respectively – were arrested at the scene shortly before 7.30pm.
They are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Coolock and Clontarf Garda Stations.
The scene at Donaghmede Park was preserved and technically examined.
