DUBLIN: A man has been arrested after €420,000 worth of heroin was seized in Ballymun in Dublin.
Gardaí discovered the heroin in a rucksack when the man was stopped and searched at Coultry Park at 3:30pm this afternoon.
The man is being held at Ballymun Garda station under Section 2 of Criminal Justice.
This is the third major drugs seizure in Ireland within the last week alone.
Almost €400,000 worth of cannabis was seized from Rosslare on April 26th, while a man was due on court on the 20th following almost half a million euro worth of drugs were found in Tallaght in Dublin.
