Ironwood Chamber support joint annual award banquet

PETER GREWE: The Ironwood and Bessemer Chambers have agreed to join forces to honor community members at an award banquet.

Peter Grewe, Ironwood Chamber of Commerce president, said he is excited to begin a partnership with the Bessemer Chamber of Commerce for the event.

“This will be the beginning in providing a stronger community for us all and we look forward to working on other projects in the future,” he said.

Kathy Whitburn, Bessemer Chamber of Commerce president, agrees.

“We believe in the power of our collaboration to further the benefit of all our citizens in our community and provide continued business support growth on the Gogebic Range, ensuring success and sustainability for us all,” she said.

According to the chambers, the event will most likely take place in third week of January. Both chambers said to “stay tuned for details coming soon.”
