IRSA releases 237,900 cusecs water

ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Thursday released 237,900 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 183,600 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1537.47 feet, which was 157.47 feet higher than its dead level 1380 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 106,100 cusecs while outflow 140,000 cusecs.  The water level in Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1227.80 feet, which was 177.80 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 19,600 cusecs and 40,000 cusecs respectively.
