IRSA releases 251,800 cusecs water

ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Monday released 251,800 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 234,900 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1544.00 feet, which was 164.00 feet higher than its dead level 1380 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 149,700 cusecs with outflow of 155,000 cusecs.  The water level in the Jhelum river at Mangla Dam was 1232.35 feet, which was 182.35 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 14,800 cusecs and 26,500 cusecs respectively.
