During said period, the AFU generated Rs261.06million of Provisional Income Tax and it did Rs1288.34million of revenue during June FY2016-17 under head of All Duty Taxes. The AFU surpassed the Sales Tax as pending payment in millions under the head of ST had been released by the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) and some other governmental and private firms and the AFU has provided business-friendly environment to the business community because business activity depends on entrepreneurs.

During the month of June, AFU recovered millions of rupees from pending taxpayers by following the policies and vision of the FBR Chairman, Dr Irshad, to achieve the targets of Financial Year 2016-17. So the revenue collection of the AFU is better under the head of all duty taxes during the month of June FY16-17 against the corresponding year 2015-16.
