Islamabad Customs collects Rs867.47m customs duty

ISLAMABAD: Collectorate of Customs have collected Rs867.47 million under the head of customs duty during the month of September 2021.

Telling the details of collection under same head an official of Customs department told that the MCC Islamabad was assigned revenue collection target of Rs1157 million during month of September 2021 while it was received Rs867.79 million.

Telling the details of revenue collection of all customs stations working under MCC Islamabad collected revenue respectively under head of Customs Duty, the IDP (Islamabad Dry Port) earned Rs764.92 million against assigned revenue target of Rs.752 million while the AFU (Air Freight Unit) was collected Rs348.67 million against target of Rs405 million.

The Car section was received Rs11.74 million revenue under head of customs against target of Rs.9 million while Customs BOND Section was received Rs.2.54 million against target of Rs.2 million as well as the A.B section received Rs.1.98 million against target of Rs.1.98 million, while the IMO (International Mail Office) was received Rs.1.09 million against assigned revenue collection target of Rs.1.09 million.

Sources told that the Collectorate paid Rs.263.16 million of rebate and refunds against assigned target of Rs13.50 million.
