Islamabad High Court will hear two tax references today

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Islamabad High Court will hear a couple of tax references on Thursday (today) filed against Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue by office bearer of Large Taxpayer’s Unit and Regional Tax Office, Islamabad.

The bench comprising Justice Noor-Ul-Haq N. Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah would hear the sales and income tax references against ATIR.

RTO officer, Commissioner Inland Revenue, Legal had filed the income tax reference making ATIR, the main respondent. Another sales tax reference was filed by LTU commissioner Inland Revenue against Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue. Both the said petitioners had challenged ATIR decisions before the court.

Meanwhile, the bench would also take on hearing case filed by D.G Intelligence and Investigation, FBR against M/s Khyber Tea and Food Company.
