IT govt employees threaten protest outside KP Assembly

PESHAWAR: Information technology assistants and computer operators working in various departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government have threatened to hold protests if the respective provincial government fails to upgrade them by July 11.

“If our demands are not met, we will observe a strike from July11 while in the second phase we will observe three-day hunger strike from July 18 in front Peshawar Press Club and finally will stage protest demonstration outside the KP Assembly building” warned KP Information Technology Staff Association (ITSA) President Said Habib Ullah in a press conference.
