Italy wants to develop agro-based industry in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Italian Ambassador Stefano Pontecorvo has called on Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Reform Ahsan Iqbal and expressed interest to invest in various sectors in Pakistan especially in developing agro-based industry.

Both the dignitaries discussed various issues pertaining to mutual interests, cooperation and bilateral relations and exchanged views on matters related to bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and education fields. They agreed to strengthen the bilateral ties through enhanced cooperation in these areas.
