Jamil Nasir made acting collector of Lahore Customs Preventive

LAHORE: Customs Preventive Additional Collector Jamil Nasir has been given the charge of Lahore Customs Preventives collector in the absence of Collector Mukarram Jah Ansari.

Sources said that the chief collector had given additional charge of the Lahore Preventive collector to Additional Collector AFU Jamil Nasir.

The sources further said that Jamil Nasir will work as acting collector until the seven-member delegation returns to Pakistan after attending the 19th Customs Liaison Border Committee in India.

The delegation will return to Pakistan next week. The Liaison Border Committee meeting is held between the customs authorities of both the country to streamline various issues related to trade facilitation between India and Pakistan. The meeting is held after every two months in each other’s countries.
