ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has called on Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain Javaid Malik and congratulated him on his appointment as an envoy and asked him to convey his best wishes to the Ameer of Bahrain.
Malik told the minister that he plans to strengthen the trade and investment relationship with Bahrain. He also briefed the minister that government of Bahrain is also planning to establish a hospital in Pakistan and the modalities to run the hospital are under discussion.
Dar also said that he wants the Pakistani officials abroad to work on establishing contacts between the businessmen of both sides as the private sector uses the available resources with maximum efficiency. Malik told the minister that he will be assuming his responsibilities in the next month.
