WASHINGTON: King of Asian Pop Jay Chou spent RM12,000 for a three-day-two-night stay at the presidential suite of a five-star hotel in Port Dickson before his Invincible Concert Tour 2016 in Kuala Lumpur today, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported. Several fans had earlier spotted him and his wife Hannah Quinlivan at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Wednesday. The daily learnt that they had travelled to Port Dickson for a vacation before Chou’s concert at Stadium Merdeka.

It reported that the hotel was the perfect spot for the couple to have a holiday with their daughter, Hathaway, although she was not seen with them at the airport. Some fans even posted pictures with Chou on social media as he was dining at a seafood restaurant in Port Dickson. The daily reported that Chou’s two-storey presidential suite has a sea view and two private pools.

The daily said the 36-year-old woman was opening the car door for her daughter outside a kindergarten when the man, armed with a parang, grabbed her car keys from her hand and attempted to drive away the vehicle. But the teacher did not give in easily during the 5.30pm incident on Wednesday, pulling the robber out before he could drive away. Surprised by the move, he shoved her to the ground and fled in a waiting vehicle driven by an accomplice. The teacher was injured on her lips, forehead and legs.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the two robbers, who came in a Toyota Harrier, had been waiting near the victim’s car. He said the case would be investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt while committing a robbery.
