TOKYO: The new vehicle called Renegade is available in affordable price and it is a typical compact car. The 2015 jeep is priced at $17,995 and more.
Jeep confirmed pricing details for its new compact SUV, the 2015 Jeep Renegade, and as it appears, Pricing starts at $17,995 for the entry-level Renegade Sport, with buyers having the option to add another $2,000 for all-wheel drive. The Latitude, which is second in the trim scale, costs $21,295 and up, while the Limited will set buyers back by at least$24,795.
Likewise, buyers can add an extra $2,000 to get all-wheel drive on those two other trims. The Trailhawk, which costs $25,995 and up, comes with all-wheel drive standard. All of the above mentioned prices do not include the destination charge of $995, but the 2015 Jeep Renegade is still an extremely affordable compact SUV, and one that comes with AWD as an option, unlike your average compact crossover.
All Jeep Renegades are powered by Chrysler’s 1.4-liter MultiAir turbo four engine that makes 160 horsepower and 184 lb/ft. torque. This engine can only be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The optional, naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter TigerShark I4 engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic, and produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb/ft. torque. And while these power figures may not impress, Jeep stressed that the Renegade will stand out for its “best in class” off-road driving; aside from optional AWD on all models but the Trailhawk (where it comes standard), the Renegade comes with Jeep’s proprietary Selec-Terrain traction management tech, which ensures an optimum driving experience in all types of nasty terrain.
