Jehanzeb assumes charge as Chief Commissioner-IR in Peshawar

ISLAMABAD: Jehanzeb Mahmood, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service, has assumed the charge of the post of Chief Commissioner-IR at Regional Tax Office, Peshawar.

The officer, in pursuance of Board’s Notification No. 2508-IR-I/2016, dated 14.10.2016, relinquished the charge of the post of Member, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad with effect from October 17.

Jehanzeb, pursuing the Law and Justice Division Notification No. F.1(42)/2013-A.IV, dated 26.09.2016, had assumed the charge of the post of Member on September 28.

The officer has also served as Commissioner (BS-20) (Withholding Taxes) at Regional Tax Office, Peshawar and relinquished the charge on June 02, 2015. He was promoted to BS-21 on June 1, 2015 and posted as Accountant Member at respective Appellate Tribunals Inland Revenue.
