LAHORE: The price of jet fuel has increased by more than Rs9 per litre over the past three days, pushing the cost to Rs355.52 per litre, according to airline sources.
The price of jet fuel rose by Rs9.05 per litre between Oct. 1 and Oct. 3, aviation industry sources said.
Aviation sources said the increase in jet fuel prices had raised airlines’ operating costs, putting additional pressure on their finances.
Airlines have indicated that higher fuel costs could lead to an increase in airfares, potentially making air travel more expensive for passengers.
