BET SHEAN: The Jordan Custom Department (JCD) foiled an attempt to smuggle 10,872 Tramadol tablets hidden in a passenger luggage at the Queen Alia International Airport.
As per details, the custom authorities also thwarted an attempt to smuggle commodities including tools, clothes, sport footwear and other different goods in a recent raid.
In a statement, authorities said that the seized items were referred to the concerned authorities for further investigation into the matter.
Moreover, it stated that customs authorities have been stressed its determination and keenness to fight all types of smuggling to maintain economic and social security in the Kingdom.
